Hey, I'm Stef.
I help purpose-driven businesses with deliberate digital design. This affords me the ability to create and share helpful resources with a growing group of people determined to push their boundaries and thrive in life.
After earning my BCom in 2019, I plateaued in retail sales. Determined to reach higher, I discovered UX/UI design that same year, which completely changed my trajectory.
Following a year of self-study, I took the leap into full-time freelancing from 2020 - onward, working on a vast variety of creative projects to keep me afloat
These days, I’m all-in on madebystef.
After 4 years of freelancing, I spent nearly two years at MakeReign, getting arguably one of the best educations in product design I could’ve asked for.
In 2025 an old restlessness crept back in, and I knew it was time to bet on myself again.
Now I work as a scale-stage design partner, helping purposeful people when their venture’s growth starts to outpace its design structure.
In my spare time, I hangout with my fiancé Fran, skateboard, play single-player story-driven video games, read, watch moves & series, and write a newsletter sharing thoughts, perspectives, and resources for those on their own way up.

We start with a quick call to understand the project’s challenges, goals, and what success looks like.
I map out deliverables, timelines, and milestones in Notion so everyone’s aligned before we begin.
Depending on what the project needs, I generally work with agencies and teams in three ways:

- Contract
- Full-time
Once we’re rolling, I keep things transparent and collaborative - sharing updates, asking questions, and refining along the way.
No matter the setup, my goal is always to serve the craft and elevate the project, the people, and the final result. My intent is to have the deliverables reflect the same.
